in Daily Life

T’ai Chi movement is based on principles of being:

Grounded
Centered
Responsive
Soft, Full, Round and Balanced in expression
"Stillness in Motion"
Guided in action by mind/heart (Spirit)

Application of these principles create a beautiful and flowing expression of T’ai Chi choreography.

Yet there is more.

These principles embody ideas and methods useful for all of us in coping with the chaos of "normal" life.

Life is full of little surprises. How do you handle them? You turn on the computer and all you get is a blank screen; you get off the plane and the gate agent says your connecting flight is "indefinitely" delayed; your partner wants to go out, when all you want to do is stay curled up on the couch.

You have goals and things to accomplish. How do you go about it? Only one person on your team thinks your idea is good, and that person has a reputation as a suck-up; you have been "reorganized" and now report to a person you consider an idiot; the conference organizers have asked someone to do a workshop on your topic.

All of these events – and all the events in life – are opportunities to apply your T’ai Chi principles and create a beautiful, flowing choreography of your life. Leave the stiffness and emptiness behind!

In a hands-on experiential workshop, learn and experience the T’ai Chi principles, and then practice applying them in your own real life situations. T’ai Chi experience is not required.
