Charlie & Kirsten
Charlie and Kirsten, away on their honeymoon, have problems with
intimacy as they see that other couples in their age group have more passionate relationships and Charlie is informed
that in a previous relationship that Kirsten had, she was involved in sex that included the tying up of one partner.
The couple eventually try this unconventional method of sex for themselves and when we see them last they appear
to both be very happy and satisfied.
Claudia & Cody
Cody, having been. . . well. . .dumped for cheating on Claudia asks
for forgiveness. After he is declined, Claudia is interrupted in class, by Cody singing a song dedicated to her
on the lawn of the school. This intrigues the rest of the class, but Claudia, embarrassed, stays in her seat. Later,
Alexa (a girl in the school, seemingly popular) begins to prod Claudia about her relationship with Cody. Claudia
tells the girl with hostility that it is none of her business, but the questioning persists. We eventually find
that Alexa had guessed that Claudia had been cheated on and was extra sensitive to the topic because she too, had
been cheated on. When Cody comes the Claudia's school (yet again) asking for forgiveness, in the middle of Claudia's
rejection, Alexa interrupts and defends Claudia and what she is doing to Cody. The storyline comes to a close as
Alexa introduces Claudia to her friends.
Bailey & Sarah
Bailey and Sarah's relationship seems to be going, once again, at
full speed, However, we find that Sarah is unhappy because their whole relationship is centered on sex and there
is no talking. When she voices these concerns to Bailey they talk and Sarah tells him that she feels lost and hasn't
ever planned her life without Bailey. Bailey tells Sarah that he is still right there and not to worry. Later,
we are brought to Bailey, who is talking to Joe (who is in town because of the wedding). We find that Joe's relationship
with his wife is on the rocks and he offers to take over the restaurant while Bailey spends some time with Sarah.
Bailey acts as if it is a good idea, however he shows up at the restaurant the next day at 9:00. Bailey tells Joe
that thing between he and Sarah are not as good as they seem and that he is still very unhappy, but her can't tell
Sarah because he doesn't want her to be just as upset, then resent him. Joe tells Bailey that he can't give advice
as to how to make relationships work, but he can tell how they don't work and he prompts Bailey to go talk to Sarah.
Bailey goes home to Sarah, who is in a very romantic (if you get my drift) mood and the problem remains unaddressed.
Julia
Julia is having great difficulties writing her book (memoirs of the
relationship between she and Ned). Unable to bring the problem to her family and friends, (because they are too
excited about movie rights and soundtracks of the book) Julia goes to the editor. He tells her that, that is not
what he is there for. The writer's block leaves Julia questioning herself as a writer late in the night, when she
is approached by Claudia. Claudia reassures Julia of her ability and talent and Julia goes to the editor again,
this time being insistent that he help her, and he does.
Diana & Daphne
Daphne is left in charge of Diana while Charlie and Kirsten are away
on their honeymoon. She reluctantly leaves Diana at the day-care center at her job. When the day is over the tired,
Daphne, has no energy to spend time with her baby. The next day she is caught by her boss visiting Diana at the
day-care, when she should have been working and is fired. Daphne goes home and is unaffected by the job termination
because she can now spend time with her baby.
