I’ve Gotta Find You
by Sparkle_eyez

Part 1

Ethan Winthrop walked around the Italian airport in a frenzy.

‘I never realized how much I really had as a Crane until now.’ he thought as he waited in line for a cab.

A Crane never had to take cab or ride coach on an airplane.

None of that mattered now though because he wasn’t a Crane anymore. All because of a woman who ruined his life and may have possibly crumbled his last chance at love.

Ethan shuttered at the thought of Gwen Hotchkiss.

‘I thought I could trust her!’ He thought angrily.

He calmed himself with the thought of his Theresa.

He was in Italy to find her and he would do whatever it took to have her back in his life.

“Pilar I beg of you please tell me where she is?” Ethan begged.

Pilar was hesitant but she knew that her Theresa needed Ethan. So, without words she walked over to her desk and jotted down some things on a piece of paper and handed it to him.

“Rome, Italy mijo. This is her address.” She said.

Ethan stared at the piece of paper and kissed Pilar on the cheek.

“Thank you so much Pilar!” Ethan said heading for the door.

“Ethan?” Pilar said stopping him.

“Yes, Pilar?”

“Promise me you’ll bring my daughter, your love, back to us.”

“I promise.”

*End Flashback*

Ethan grabbed a taxi and gave the driver directions.

As the taxi cruised through the streets, he nervously stared out the window until it pulled up in front of a tall building.

Ethan stepped out of the taxi and starred up at the building.

He could see through all of the large windows at all of the different people inside those rooms.

“My Resa is in one of those and I’m going to find her.” He said.

He turned around and paid the anxious driver.

He looked back up at the windows and his heart dropped.

He saw the dark hair beauty sitting at one of the windows starring sadly out the window. Her eyes were so sad and dark they didn’t have the same sparkle that they always held. Her hair laid lifelessly on her shoulders.

The sight was too much for him to bear.

“I’m coming Theresa.”
