Melinda Cooks for One (or Two) ~ Baked Pear

1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
1 T butter or margarine
1 t sugar
Ground nutmeg

Place pear slices in an ungreased 2 cup baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Cover and bake at 350: for 40-50 minutes or until tender. 1 serving. To prepare in a microwave, cover and cook on high for 3-4 minutes or until pear is tender.
