You came here in hopes of buying my 49% of Titan." "But you had no intention of selling them." "That's true, but you knew that my dear." Stefano stated, "So why did you come over here?" "I must be delusional." Kate answered, "I have no idea." "Well perhaps you can get past why you are here, and just enjoy yourself." he suggested ******************** Back at the Kiriakis Mansion "Okay fine Sami, I'll be civil." Lucas stated, and quickly added "for Will's sake." "Good, and as long as you will be civil, I have to ask. Why are you drinking?" "I drink because I can." "That's a stupid reason. Why are you a drunk?" "I'm not a drunk Sami, unlike you, I can control myself." "What is that suppose to mean?!" "Your so smart, figure it out for yourself." "Fine!" Sami shouted. "Fine!" Lucas replied and Sami stood up to leave. "Now Sami, wait." "What Lucas?" "Let's change the subject, sit back down. Henderson had the Cook cook us this wonderful meal, why not enjoy it. You have to eat." "Oh, I suppose you are right." Sami calmly stated and returned to her seat. "What do you want to talk about?" "Can we talk about Franco for a minute or so?" "As long as you don't bad mouth him. Franco is a great guy." "I'm not saying he's not. And I know it is known of my business who you date. . . " "That's right, it's not." Sami interrupted him. "But as Will's father I do believe I should have some say in the matter, or at least the right to know exactly how far you are willing to go with Franco." "I'm not sure Lucas. I just know he is good company for me." Lucas laughed to himself. "Will you promise me one thing Sami?" "What's that?" ******************** After the meal at the Dimera Mansion "Thank you for the wonderful dinner Stefano." "You're welcome my dear. We should do this again some time." "That would be nice. But maybe next time the rest of the Titan Stock Owners can join us." "We could be a banquet," Stefano said, but dreaded the thought. "But I like it this way, private." "Why does it need to be private? What is so important about privacy?" "Nothing at all, but if you have one-on-one dinners with your stock owners it is more personalize. It makes things more close, more like a family and less like a business." "I suppose you are right." Kate said, "Speaking of family, how is yours'?" "The remaining part of my family seems happy." Stefano answered. "Alexandra and Abe are happy together, even considering a family, I believe. Alexandra busies herself a lot at work." "Well I can understand why. With the Chief of Staff position running. I think she is just trying to keep things as normal as possible." "She has her work cut out for her." He added. "We don't get to talk much, Abe isn't that happy with me being Alexandra father. But in time he will accept it." "I suppose he must." ******************** Returning to dinner at the Kiriakis Mansion "Will you promise not to fully commit to Franco without telling me?" "What do you mean?" "Tell me if you are going to marry him." Lucas responded, and quickly added, "Before it happens." "Seems reasonable."
