Okay, Iím back. I know itís been awhile. My apologies for letting real life get in the way of whatís really important-- Tuesdayís Synopsis.

John is planning his wedding.
John: Caterers, florists, decorators-- money is no object, obviously, since neither Doc nor I have worked for years. This will be a day Salem will never forget, because this one day will last several weeks. Now, get to work. Doc and I have to write our vows. The ones we used at our last wedding are so five minutes ago.
Marlena:
(entering) I feel bad planning our wedding when our children are having so many problems. At least weíll be right there to help them. Unless we get a better offer. They understand. Speaking of the children, Iím having both Sami and Carrie as maids-of-honor this wedding instead of choosing one and encouraging their sibling rivalry, which as we all know really needed my encouragement.
John: And can you imagine Brady as a ring bearer?
Marlena: Actually, yes, seeing that he was the ring bearer at the last five or so weddings in Salem, including a few in which you were the groom.
John: But soon YOU will be Mrs. John Black, permanently.
Marlena: Or least for a few weeks.
(The scene is cut short when John and Marlena begin to have flashbacks. Marlena dreams of their early years together; John dreams of being Stefanoís pawn. However, even though John was Stefanoís pawn before he met Marlena, he looks much younger in her flashbacks than in his own. What has Stefano done?)

MEANWHILE, not everyone wants John and Marlena to marry.
Gina/Hope: Rolf, do what I want or Iíll tell Steffy that you once almost sold him out to the ISA.
Stefano:
(enters) Rolf, I want to go over the steps to changing John. First, you take a curling iron for memory wiping, and some magic crystals to prevent brain tumors, and a drill for--
Gina/Hope: Rolf, do what I want or Iíll tell Steffy that you once almost sold him out to the ISA.
Rolf: I understand. Go chase Marlena some more.
Gina/Hope: Rolf, do what I want or Iíll tell Steffy that you once almost sold him out to the ISA.
Stefano: Okay.
(exits)
Gina/Hope: Rolf, do what I want or Iíll tell Steffy that you once almost sold him out to the ISA.
Rolf: And I thought Kristen and Peter were hard to deal with.

MEANWHILE, Hope is a cause for concern for Bo.
Lili: Hope may not have come home last night? I hadnít thought of that. But then, I donít think of much.
Bo: Hope has been acting weird.
Lili: You may be even less observant than I am. But I do know that she hates
Stefano. Thatís why sheís always hanging around with him. To fool us.
Bo: How clever.

MEANWHILE, Boís nieces have a heart-to-heart.
Sami: Who thought that your and Austinís marriage would come to this? Besides Lucas and Mike and me and the rest of the town?
Carrie: Go away, Sami. You canít help me. Itís not like youíre the only one Duh-Boy has ever listened to.
Sami: I can help, and I would have helped sooner if you had told me what was wrong. Why didnít you? Because Iíve been trying to steal Austin from you for over five years now?

MEANWHILE, Mike and Alice also think about the results of Mikeís and Carrieís affair.
Alice: I had no idea things had gone this far.
Mike: Where have you been?
Alice: I donít know. Wandering aimlessly waiting for the writers to come up with a reason to show me in a scene.
Mike: You donít have to worry about this lawsuit, though. Ali is unstable. She has no case.
Alice: But youíre using your father as a lawyer.
Mike: Iím doomed.
